Susan Shebar Fioribello, ABD, bCFRE

 

President and Founder

 

Susan Shebar Fioribello has over 25 years of experience in the field of prospect research in New York City and Long Island.  Whether at a Large University, a small local charity, a national, centralized, nonprofit or a single site service organization Susan saw the need for timely, accurate information.  Over her career Susan saw a need for research services on Long Island and particularly for smaller and grassroots organizations.  In 2014 she founded PEAR Research Group with the mission of providing high quality research services to Long Island area nonprofits by highly qualified researchers working in nontraditional settings. Susan has witnessed the evolution of information resources from books and library visits to telnet and CD-ROM to the growth of products available online. She has been a strong supporter of new technology and has been a member of many focus/user groups exploring new ways to utilize the growing resources.

 

Susan Shebar Fioribello is a frequent speaker at APRA International and AFP Long Island and a faculty member AFPLI's certificate program in Fundraising at Hofstra University's Continuing Education., and at Prospect Research Institute. She is also a member of the Content Review Panel for Prospect Research Institute's Insider Stock and Compensation course "Prospect Research Takes on Wall Street."

 

Susan Shebar Fioribello holds a BA in Psychology from Brandeis University, an MA in General Experimental Psychology from LIU POST and is currently pursing a PhD at LIU POST in Library and Information Studies.  She also holds an elementary school teaching license in Massachusetts.
